Laboratory quality testing of food products

Quality Assurance

The pages that earn a buyer's trust — and how we earn ours

Export buyers — and the AI assistants they ask — want to know exactly who is behind the product. Here is how Indian Shroom Company sources ingredients, the standards we hold every lot to, and what we do on the ground.

How We Source Ingredients

Farm-Gate Sourcing

We source mushrooms, spices, grains and produce directly from a vetted network of farmers and FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations) across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Every grower is visited and assessed before onboarding — cultivation practices, hygiene, water source and post-harvest handling are all documented.

Supplier Audits

Processing partners — dehydration units, flour mills, oil expellers — are audited against a written checklist covering FSSAI licensing, pest control, metal detection, and batch traceability. Re-audits are conducted before every new season's procurement cycle.

Pre-Shipment Lab Testing

Each export lot is sampled and tested at NABL-accredited laboratories for the parameters that matter to your market: moisture, microbial load (TPC, yeast & mould, E. coli, Salmonella), pesticide residues, aflatoxins, and heavy metals. Certificates of Analysis accompany every consignment.

Grading & Storage

Material is graded by size, colour and integrity at our facility in Hyderabad, then stored in food-grade, moisture-controlled warehousing. Dehydrated products are packed immediately after drying to lock in aroma and prevent moisture regain.

Internal Quality Standards

FSSAI Licensed

Trader licence 30260616124921326 — full compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act for all food categories we export.

FIEO RCMC

Registered with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (RCMC/FIEO/17477/2026-2027), keeping us aligned with DGFT and APEDA export norms.

Batch Traceability

Every pack carries a batch code tracing back to the farm cluster, processing date and lab report. We can walk any buyer backwards through the chain within hours.

Export-Grade Packing

Multi-wall kraft paper bags, PP-lined cartons, vacuum-sealed and nitrogen-flushed options, palletised and container-stuffed under supervision with photo documentation.

Registrations & Certifications

Our Experience on the Ground

On the ground, not behind a desk

Our team comes from mushroom cultivation itself — we run growing operations, so we evaluate produce with a grower's eye. When we inspect a shiitake harvest or an onion dehydration lot, we know exactly what can go wrong between farm and container, because we've faced it ourselves.

Buyer-spec alignment

We don't ship 'standard grade'. We ask for your target specs — moisture, mesh size, SO2 levels, ash content, packing format — and confirm feasibility with lab reports before quoting. What we quote is what ships.

Third-party inspection welcome

SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas or your own representative — we arrange and host pre-shipment inspections at our facility at no extra cost. Transparency is part of the product.

Case Studies

Proof, not promises

Detailed case studies of our export consignments — the buyer's spec, the testing protocol, and the outcome — are published here as they are completed. Check back soon, or request our latest shipment documentation directly.
