2nd Party Audit

We bridge the credibility gap in the food distribution market: developing, auditing, and validating farmers, FPOs, and processing plants across India according to strict ISO 19011 guidelines.

2nd Party Audit Protocol — The Strategic Mandate

Why 2nd-Party Auditing is the Missing Link in Global Food Trade

In international commodity trade, buyers are typically presented with either 1st-party claims (self-declaration by the seller, which holds zero accountability) or generic 3rd-party certifications (which are audited once every few years for paperwork compliance, completely detached from actual export consignments).

A Second-Party Auditor acts directly on behalf of the customer or buyer.

Having combined our controlled-environment engineering roots with decades of industrial quality assurance experience, we recognized that Indian agriculture needed a dedicated technical auditor who develops and verifies suppliers according to ISO 19011 guidelines (Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems).

Because we operate as a Quality Assurance agency first and provide export services as secondary, our portfolio of suppliers and products remains continuously updated, validated, and held to zero defect tolerances.

Target Beneficiaries:

Overseas food importers, Indian Exporters, FMCG brands, industrial seasoning formulators, and supermarket sourcing desks.

1st-Party: Supplier Self-Declaration

High conflict of interest. “Trust us, it's Grade A.” No independent accountability.

3rd-Party: Generic Certification Registrar

Audits administrative manuals once every 1–3 years. Has no skin in your actual container shipment.

2nd-Party (ISC Model): Buyer-Spec Focused Auditor ✅

Annual on-site physical audits + quarterly surveillance + batch-level NABL lab assays before loading. Real commercial liability.

Systematic Execution

The 4-Stage Verification Protocol

Every vendor, farmer collective, FPO, and dehydrator undergoes our standardized four-tier validation cadence.

STAGE 01

On-Site Physical Audit

Annual physical inspection covering washing lines, stainless steel contact surfaces, pest control perimeters, water purification, and employee hygiene.

STAGE 02

Quarterly Surveillance

Quarterly online audits reviewing operational logs, raw material intake slips, temperature/RH sensor recordings, and CAPA corrective action closures.

STAGE 03

NABL Lab Testing

Lot-specific sampling dispatched to accredited testing labs under our formal MoUs for chromatography (pesticide residues, heavy metals, microbial loads).

STAGE 04

Anica.AI Audit Dossier

Full audit findings, photo evidence, laboratory certificates, and compliance ratings are compiled into an immutable digital dossier for buyer sign-off.

Laboratory Parameters Tested Under Our NABL MoUs

Multi-residue pesticide screens (500+ compounds) calibrated to EU MRLs, US FDA tolerances, and GCC standards. Heavy metals (Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, Mercury).

Microbiological Assays:

Total Plate Count (TPC), Yeast & Mold, Coliforms, E. coli, and zero-tolerance detection for Salmonella and Aflatoxins.

Physical & Stability:

Moisture percentage, water activity (aw), volatile oil content, acid-insoluble ash, SO2 levels, and mesh/granule particle size distribution.
