Fresh Seasonal Fruits & Vegetables — Full Description
Our fresh fruit and vegetable programme is built around India's seasonal calendar, giving importers a rotating basket sourced at peak harvest from partner farms we visit and audit. Current lines include kiwi, strawberries, scallions (spring onion), elephant yam (suran) and a rotating set of seasonal specialities such as drumstick, okra, green peas and regional fruits. Produce is harvested to a maturity index agreed with the buyer, field-cooled within hours to remove field heat, graded for size, colour and firmness at the packhouse, and packed into ventilated corrugated cartons of 4–10 kg or into buyer-specific retail packs including punnets, flow-wrap and mesh. Cold chain is unbroken from farm to freight, with refrigerated transport to the airport or port and shipment under the temperature and humidity regime each crop needs — strawberries at 0–2°C, scallions at 0–2°C with high humidity, kiwi at 0–1°C and elephant yam at ambient dry conditions. Every consignment is residue-tested against the destination market's MRL requirement and travels with a phytosanitary certificate, packing list and traceability code that links the carton back to the farm block and harvest date. We work on a seasonal supply calendar with forward contracts so buyers can plan promotions ahead of the window, and accept pallet-level air-freight quantities for trial orders as well as full reefer loads.

Fresh Seasonal Fruits & Vegetables — Buyer Questions
Which fruits and vegetables are available right now?
Availability follows the Indian seasonal calendar. Kiwi, strawberries, scallions and elephant yam are our regular lines, with additional seasonal specialities each window. Tell us your target arrival month and we will confirm what will be at peak quality then.
How is the cold chain and traceability handled?
Produce is field-cooled within hours of harvest, moved in refrigerated transport to the packhouse and port, and shipped at the temperature and humidity each crop requires. Every carton carries a traceability code linking it to the farm block and harvest date.
What is the minimum order quantity for fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables?
Our standard MOQ is 1 pallet for air freight or 1 reefer FCL for sea shipment. Trial and sample-order quantities can be arranged for first-time buyers, and mixed-product containers are accepted so you can consolidate several items in one shipment.
What is the production and shipping lead time?
Produce is harvested and packed within 3–5 days of order confirmation so it moves at peak freshness, subject to the seasonal window. Transit time then depends on destination — typically 18–25 days to Europe, 22–30 days to North America, 7–12 days to the Middle East and 12–18 days to Southeast Asia from Indian ports (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai).
Which Incoterms and payment terms do you work on?
We quote EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DDP. Payment is normally 30% advance with balance against scanned Bill of Lading, or an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight from a prime bank. Terms for repeat buyers are negotiable.
What export documents are provided with each shipment?
Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate (where applicable), Certificate of Analysis for the lot, FSSAI licence copy and any buyer-specific documentation such as health or halal certificates.
Can we get samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We ship 100–500 g representative samples by courier against freight cost, drawn from the same lot you will be offered. Pre-shipment samples of the actual production lot are also sent for approval on request.
