Product Description

Mushroom Flakes — Full Description

Our mushroom flakes are cut from the same export-grade dried mushrooms we supply whole, giving food processors concentrated natural umami with clearly visible mushroom pieces. Dried caps are re-checked for moisture, cut and sieved to a consistent 3–10 mm flake size, then metal-detected before packing. Button, oyster and shiitake mushroom flakes are available as separate varieties, with custom cuts produced against a buyer sample or written specification. The clean single-ingredient format contains no maltodextrin, salt, carriers or added MSG. Mushroom flakes work particularly well in dry soup mixes, instant noodle sachets, risotto kits, sauces, gravies, pizza toppings, ready meals and food-service preparations where texture and visible product identity matter. Each lot is checked for moisture, size distribution, foreign matter and microbiology, with traceability back to the drying batch and grower cluster. Food-grade poly-lined cartons and kraft bags protect the flakes during international transport, while buyer-specific pack sizes can be discussed for retail, food-service and industrial requirements. A Certificate of Analysis accompanies each shipment.

FAQ

Mushroom Flakes — Buyer Questions

Are the mushroom flakes made from 100% mushroom?

Yes. Standard mushroom flakes contain only dried mushroom, with no maltodextrin, salt, carriers, anti-caking agents or added MSG.

Can you match a specific flake size?

Yes. Standard flakes are 3–10 mm. Send a reference sample or written specification and we can cut and sieve to the required size before sharing a pre-production sample for approval.

What is the minimum order quantity for mushroom flakes?

Our standard MOQ is 500 kg. Trial and sample-order quantities can be arranged for first-time buyers, and mixed-product containers are accepted so you can consolidate several items in one shipment.

What is the production and shipping lead time?

Cutting and packing takes 10–14 days from order confirmation once the drying lot is allocated. Transit time then depends on destination — typically 18–25 days to Europe, 22–30 days to North America, 7–12 days to the Middle East and 12–18 days to Southeast Asia from Indian ports (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai).

Which Incoterms and payment terms do you work on?

We quote EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DDP. Payment is normally 30% advance with balance against scanned Bill of Lading, or an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight from a prime bank. Terms for repeat buyers are negotiable.

What export documents are provided with each shipment?

Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate (where applicable), Certificate of Analysis for the lot, FSSAI licence copy and any buyer-specific documentation such as health or halal certificates.

Can we get samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We ship 100–500 g representative samples by courier against freight cost, drawn from the same lot you will be offered. Pre-shipment samples of the actual production lot are also sent for approval on request.
